Learn from a nationally-known, Asian Fusion chef with more than 40 years of experience running restaurants.

Training includes Asian cooking classes and a 5-day trip to Hong Kong. Plus, some trainees may be chosen to become partners in a new restaurant.

• Secret broth of Hong Kong Wonton Noodle Soup
• Vegetable Sculpture
• 10-course Chinese Wedding Banquet
• Secret Chinese Sauces: XO Sauce, General Tsao Sauce, Szechuan, Black Pepper, Red Curry
• Vietnamese Summer Roll in Vietnamese Spicy Tangy Garlic Fish Sauce
• Thai Satay Beef in Satay Dip
• Japanese Sushi
• Indonesian Fried Rice and Paella
• Asian Fusion (French, Italian, Latino, Portuguese, Mexican) Cuisine

Plus:

• Hong Kong Cleaver Techniques
• Meat Tenderizing

And:

• Hands-on Restaurant Management Experience
• Tips for Cutting Restaurant Labor Costs
• Strategies for Cutting Restaurant Food Costs (as much as 20%)
• Management Techniques for Front & Back of the House

And a trip to Hong Kong!

Chef Poon will personally escort trainees on a culinary trip to Hong Kong to sample Chinese delicacies including fresh seafood, street food, fast food, fruit from Kowloon, Floating Restaurant Banquet food, Hong Kong Peninsula Hotel, Vegetarian Food from Buddhists Island Temple. Hotel and all meals, sightseeing and airline tickets all included.

Timing: 12 weeks. Six days a week. All meals provided. Includes five day trip to Hong Kong. We can help you find living quarters in Philadelphia.
