A Mid-Autumn Festival (Chung Chiu), is celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar.  In Hong Kong, it is held in conjunction with the annual Lantern Festival. The custom of eating moon cakes dates back thousands of years, boasting a close relationship with Chinese culture and history.

In keeping with Chinese Tradition, when you enjoy the special “Moon Cake”, you must have a cup of delicious Chinese tea.  So Chef Poon will serve a “Cup of Monkey Pick Jasmine Health Green Tea”.  A bite of Moon Cake, a cup of delicious tea, and an appreciation of the beauty of a full moon is very important to Asian Culture.  Dinner includes a complimentary Sake toast to another healthy, prosperous and peaceful year!
