A message from Chef Poon…
"For the past few years I have traveled extensively, studied culinary trends, motivated students and appeared at major international events. I conduct Chinatown Tours for chefs from around the world. I traveled to San Diego, Orlando, Indiana, Arkansas & Minnesota doing carving demos as spokesperson for the National Watermelon Promotion Board. I experimented with Japanese, French and Italian cooking methods and ingredients, and Spanish Tapas. It was my privilege to receive an honorary doctorate from my alma mater, State University of New York (SUNY) College at Oneonta. It’s been an awesome time. After every trip, I happily return to my home city, Philadelphia. Last year I traveled to Beijing just before The Olympics and am traveling often back and forth to China and Hong Kong. I enjoy the wonderful people on my Wok 'N Walk Tours, have made a host of guest appearances on TV and in May was invited to make presentations at some major corporations in the area. I hope to see you again soon on one of my tours!
